Compensation
- Paid on practical miles - not "shortest" miles!
- $.90 per mile
- Additional bonus pay based on obtainable productivity goals
- Stop pay at $30.00 per stop.
- Detention and layover; 100% pass thru
- Base plate and permits paid for
- Public liability, property damage and cargo insurance paid as long as truck is hooked to trailer

Owner/Operator Requirements
- Minimum 23 years old
- 2 year OTR verifiable experience
- No DUI or DWI convictions in the past 5 years
- Felony convictions older than seven years will be reviewed.
- Good driving record
- No major preventable accidents in the past 5 years
- Able to pass DOT physical, preemployment drug screen and road test.
- $2,500 deductible for trailer and $2,500 for cargo in case of preventable accident
- Must be able to perform all duties to load and unload freight, make up and break up combination vehicles, perform inspections and be able to sit for lengths of time.
Tractor Requirements
- Not more than 7 years old
- *Wheelbase 265 inches or shorter
- Stack height at least thirteen feet
- Fifth wheel height not to exceed 48 inches hooked to empty trailer - must slide
- Weight not to exceed 19,500 lbs with full fuel tanks and drivers unless otherwise approved bring current scale ticket to orientation
- Tractor must pass a complete DOT inspection at time of leasing Documents Required by Law
- Proof of payment of Federal Highway Use Tax (Form 2290)
- Federal ID# and Social Security #
- Power of Attorney for Plates
Tractor Insurance
Physical damage insurance is available at 3.2% to 4.75% depending upon experience, age, and value of equipment and driving record. This can be obtained directly through On Time Express Insurance Company. Bobtail or non-trucking liability insurance can be obtained as well for $475.00 per year.
