About Us

Our Mission

The On Time Express mission is to build strong, lasting relationships, provide strategic logistics solutions and communicate with excellence while exceeding customers' expectations.

Our History

In 1997, the current president and CEO, Bart Wilson purchased what was then ABRE Express, a small cartage company established in 1982.

By 1998, the transition from ABRE Express to On Time Express was complete and the company began to grow. From our modest roots, On Time Express has grown in assets over 40 times while consistently maintaining excellent, personalized customer service and on – time performance. "Customer retention during this period of growth is a great source of pride and an area where we feel we are unmatched," comments Mr. Wilson.

In 2000, On Time Express opened an office in Dallas, Texas. This was a perfect fit for our expanding truckload and less than truckload operation and continues to be essential in the operation of our ever growing network.

In 2001, we expanded into Mexico by way of Tijuana and Nogales. "We listened to our customer requirements and provided seamless border movement," states Wilson. "By doing this we have provided a strategic solution to a difficult logistics challenge for many."

On Time continued its consistent pattern of growth in 2003 by joining the WCA, World Cargo Alliance. With our North American influence, we were able to expand our ocean and expedited services greatly.

In 2011, On Time Express continues to provide it's trademark excellent customer service, surpassing our customer expectations. "The last couple years have been challenging for the industry, but we are grateful for a very solid business model, loyal customers, and a staff with passion and integrity, which has brought us through those times. 2011 is off to a very promising year," remarked Wilson.
